VCE Leadership Awards 2017

Shadab Safa is using his experiences of escaping racial hatred and civil war to advocate for a multicultural Australia. The Cranbourne Secondary College student has been working to raise awareness of the issues facing young refugees and migrants, and is one of seven VCE Leader finalists.

Professor Bill Lucas is a world-renowned expert in critical and creative thinking, and approximately 130 teachers in Victoria were given the opportunity to attend a half-day workshop with him on Wednesday 1 November, exploring how to explicitly teach and assess critical and creative thinking, and lead this work in their school setting.
