2015 State Final Winners and Finalists
Congratulations to Matthew Hall from Ballarat Grammar, winner of the 2015 Plain English Speaking Award in Victoria.
Matthew delivered a thought-provoking presentation on ‘Growing Coffee.’ He will now represent Victoria in the national final in Canberra on Monday 10 August 2015.
The 2015 runner up, Karen Chow from Suzanne Cory High School, gave a challenging speech entitled ‘Gender inequality’.
Congratulations to all of Victoria’s state finalists including Ned Coleman; Balwyn High School, Joshu Faye-Chauhan; Whitefriars College, Chloe Gration; Lauriston Girls’ School and David Vadori; Brunswick Secondary College.
All six state finalists demonstrated outstanding skill in oral communication, speech writing and research.
