VCE Season of Excellence

Top Class 2016

Top Class presents eleven concerts by outstanding VCE performing arts students who have completed VCE Drama, Theatre Studies, Music Performance, Music Investigation, VCE VET Music, Music Styles and Composition, Dance and VCE VET Dance. Participating performers speak at the Drama and Theatre Studies concerts about the preparation of their solo work from the student perspective.

Top Class Sound features performances of original musical works composed by students undertaking VCE Music Performance, Music Investigation, and Music Style and Composition, who have created original music as part of Unit 3 and 4 Assessment tasks.

The Top Class concerts run from February to March and are coordinated by the Season of Excellence’s Performing Arts Coordinator working with Assessors. The concerts are presented at the Melbourne Recital Centre, the Playhouse at Arts Centre Melbourne and Melba Hall, University of Melbourne.
