2017 Nominations

Applications for the 2017 VCAL Achievement Awards are now open, deadline extended to Monday 27 November 2017.
Please review award categories and application information below before completing the form/s.

Please note: The nomination forms are hosted by a third party, Vision 6. Vision 6 collects the information requested on the form on behalf of the VCAA. If you complete the requested information on the form and click on Submit, your information will be transferred to the third party’s servers and accessed from there by the VCAA. Before deciding whether you wish to click on Submit, you can review the third party’s privacy policy. If you click on the link to the third party’s Privacy Policy, you will leave the VCAA’s website and be redirected to the third party’s website. Award categories

This year we are seeking nominations from the following categories:

Fifteen Student Achievement Awards

One award for each of the following for Foundation, Intermediate and Senior levels

  • Work Related Skills
  • Personal Development Skills
  • Outstanding Achievement
  • Team Achievement

One VCAL Koori Student Achievement Award (from any of the Foundation, Intermediate and Senior levels)

Two VCAL School-based Apprentice/Trainee Awards (from any of the Foundation, Intermediate and Senior levels)

Four Teacher Achievement Awards

One award for each of the following categories:

  • Integrated Program Award
  • Team Teaching Award
  • Program Development Award
  • VCAL Teacher of the Year Award

Three Partner Achievement Awards

One award for each of the following categories:

  • Workplace Learning Award
  • VCAL Promotion Award
  • VCAL Partnerships Award

All applications need to be accompanied by an Acceptance of Nomination/Consent Form (pdf - 70.78kb).

Wherever possible, provide evidence to support your application. Examples of evidence include:

  • Photographs / Video clips (if providing video footage, please provide a link to an on-line source with your application)
  • Newspaper clippings or links to on-line news stories
  • Letters from Politicians / Community Leaders
  • Web articles
  • School newsletters
  • Principal or community endorsement

You will be advised of the outcome of your application by February 2018.
