Resources and support

A range of resources have been developed to support the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum F–10, including information regarding curriculum planning and assessment, curriculum area-specific advice, and professional learning opportunities. In addition to resources on this website and the Victorian Curriculum F–10 website, the VCAA also provides the Curriculum Planning Resource portal, designed to support school leaders to plan and document a comprehensive whole-school curriculum.

For a visual guide to assist locating key information and  resources related to the Victorian Curriculum F–10, please see the Quick Guide (pdf - 352.61kb).

In 2017, all Victorian government and Catholic schools are required to use the Victorian Curriculum F–10. Independent schools may use the Victorian Curriculum F–10 as a model and resource for the effective implementation of the Australian Curriculum.

Navigating the curriculum website

To assist educators to effectively use the Victorian Curriculum F-10 website, the VCAA has developed a series of instructional videos that shows users how to view, filter, navigate and print using the website’s various functions. The videos also include an overview and tour of the website.

Bushfire Education

The Bushfire Education website provides teaching and learning resources to support bushfire education in early childhood settings, primary schools and secondary schools. Developed by the Victorian government in response to the findings of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission, the Bushfire Education website provides teaching and learning resources that have been aligned to either the relevant Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) outcomes or the Victorian Curriculum F-10.
