Why Am I here?
On this website you will learn how to get involved in reclaiming and reviving Victorian Aboriginal Languages and cultures. You might be an Aboriginal Community member – Elder, parent or student, or a school staff member.
This website tells you:
- How to get a Victorian Aboriginal Language class started in Schools from Years Prep-10.
- The importance of following the Protocols, developed through community consultation, is outlined in the Victorian Essential Learning Standards document Aboriginal Languages, cultures and reclamation in Victorian schools: standard P-10 and protocols.
- About resources and links to use when teaching/learning a Victorian Aboriginal Language.
