The following information is provided for VCE students sitting for June Examinations and/or the General Achievement Test (GAT). Teachers should ensure that students are aware of the correct method of completing all multiple-choice answer sheets, scripts books and answer books, and practise these procedures prior to the examination.

The front covers of the June examinations and General Achievement Test (GAT) books, and the instructions boxes from inside the examination books are provided.

Students should note that the number of pages, number of questions and mark allocations may differ slightly on the actual examination paper.

Multiple-choice answer sheets

The answer sheet issued to each student will have the student’s name and student number printed near the top of the sheet. Each student will be required to confirm that both their name and number as printed on the answer sheet are correct by signing their name on the sheet.

Students will indicate their response to a question by shading the appropriate box. Students should carefully follow the instruction as printed on each answer sheet.
