Memo 110 2007
Memorandum to Schools 110/2007
15 November 2007
-
Section 3.6 of the VCE Examination Manual 2007 states that during VCE
examinations Chief Supervisors must be able to make contact with the Principal
or the Principal’s delegate should any situation arise.
-
Students for VCE examinations must also be formally identified either by a
relevant member of the school staff being present as they enter the
examination room or by providing photographic identification.
-
Examination Messages advising Examination Centres to ‘Proceed Normally’ or to
note important supplementary information are sent from VCAA by email and
facsimile. Key staff at each Examination Centre are responsible for receiving
and communicating these messages to the Chief Supervisor.
-
Given the stop-work action proposed by the Australian Education Union for Wednesday
21 November, Principals are reminded of the need to make alternative
arrangements should the usual personnel not be available to carry out these
duties.
-
Principals are asked to contact Nick Thorburn (9225 2225) or Geoff
Pile (9225 2237) if you require any further assistance.
