Professional Development Sessions – The VCE Data Service
The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority cordially invite members of your school’s VCE leadership team to attend a professional development session on the VCE Data Service (VCEDS).
The VCEDS provides each school with confidential information on the performance of their VCE students. It is an online service that makes use of the potential of Internet delivery to assist schools analyse their VCE results. Users can access their own school data as far back as 1998.
The program is designed to be useful and informative for new users as well as for experienced users of VCEDS. It will cover how to gain access to VCEDS, what VCEDS can do for your school, and will suggest strategies for getting the best out of VCEDS 2008.
Each two-hour session is provided free of charge (including light refreshments). Sessions have been organised to take place in each region of the state, commencing on 3 March 2008 and running until 10 April 2008.

To take advantage of this opportunity, please ensure that all relevant staff (eg, Principal, Deputy Principal, VCE Coordinator, Curriculum Coordinator, Faculty head/Coordinator) complete the attached registration form and return by fax to Christal Belayiannis at the VCAA on 03 9651 4504. Registration closes 5.00pm Friday 22 February 2008.
