The VCAA will be conducting a series of professional development workshops for assessors of scored VCE VET programs in 2008.

The workshop activities are designed for all assessors of VCE VET programs. Participants will be assigned into groups based on program areas. New assessors in 2008 should familiarise themselves with the structure and details of the scored assessment process by reading the relevant materials: the relevant Assessment Guide, sample Assessment Plans, VET Coursework Assessment Records (VCARs), scoring criteria sheets. These documents can be found on the VCAA website: http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vet/programs/scoredasses.html
Copies of all VCAA documentation will be available for participants at the workshops.

Time: New and inexperienced assessors: - 9.00am registration to commence at 9.15am
All other participants: - 10.00am registration to commence at 10.30am
A light lunch will be provided
Program will conclude at 3.15pm.

Reimbursement for travel over 100 km return journey will be available to participants from schools and RTOs. Public service guidelines apply – all vehicles must be comprehensively insured. Travel claim forms will be available on the day.
