National Curriculum – Victorian Forums

Background

The work of the National Curriculum Board (NCB) is gathering pace.
The first national consultation was held by the NCB in Melbourne in June. State-based consultations on broad issues have since been held in New South Wales, the Northern Territory and Queensland. Victoria’s consultation is scheduled for 12 November.
Subject-based forums were held in Melbourne by the National Curriculum Board from 13 – 17 October. The VCAA is hosting state subject-based consultations from 29 – 31 October.
In addition, the VCAA, in partnership with the DEECD Regional Offices, is holding a series of regional forums on the development of the national curriculum from 13 November – 8 December.
These forums will be held as follows:

Attendance at these forums is free, but registration is required. No confirmations will be sent.
Light refreshments will be available.
