VCE Food And Technology Teacher Professional Learning At Melbourne Museum

Melbourne Museum in conjunction with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority presents Teacher Professional Learning to support the Top Designs Exhibition 2008.

The State Reviewer for the School-assessed Task will discuss requirements and assessment criteria for the School-assessed Task, and available resources. Teachers are able to view the Top Designs exhibition prior to hearing from the State Reviewer. A teacher and their students whose work appears in the exhibition will discuss their experiences and how teachers can best assist students in the development of the School-assessed Task.

Author of the book The Conscious Cook, Giselle Wilkinson will discuss the importance of developing foods that have minimum impact on the environment, by choosing ingredients with awareness, selecting locally and seasonally grown produce.
