National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) 2008
Communication to schools on NAPLAN 2008 test days.
In the event that communication between the VCAA and schools on NAPLAN test days
(13-15 May) is required, the VCAA will contact all schools directly, via both fax and email. The fax number supplied to the VCAA by the school via the NAPLAN Administration website will be used, as well as the school’s email address.
While the necessity for direct contact between the VCAA and schools on NAPLAN test days is unlikely, principals are asked to monitor their faxes and emails on test days as a precaution.
Requests for extra materials
Schools are reminded that if they have insufficient quantities of any test materials they should complete the Request for Extra Materials form in the Test Administration Guide and fax it to the VCAA on (03) 9225 2334.

Requests for extra materials must be received by Friday 9 May 2008.
Alternatively, extra test materials are available at DEECD regional offices or from Catholic Education Offices, which schools can contact directly.
