Submission Of School Indicative Examination Grades For June 2008 Examinations

The School Indicative Examination Grades for the June examinations are required by Tuesday 10 June, 2008.

Examinations are being held for:

• Accounting – AC03 – Graded Assessment 1
• Biology  - BI03 – Graded Assessment 1
• Chemistry – CH03 – Graded Assessment 1
• Environmental Science – EV03 – Graded Assessment 1
• Physics – PH03 – Graded Assessment 1
• Psychology – PY03 – Graded Assessment 1

Indicative Examination Grades may be entered using the menu: RESULTS ADMIN → Indicative Examination Grades → Indicative Examination Grades and must be a letter grade ranging from A+ to E, UG or NA. For further advice on School Indicative Examination Grades, please refer to section 9.9.1, page 107 to 108 of the 2008 VCE and VCAL Administrative Handbook.

This is the ONLY opportunity for School Indicative Examination Grades for the June examinations to be submitted.

The VASS menu: RESULTS ADMIN → Indicative Examination Grades → Indicative Grades Report should be used to produce Input sheet prior to the entry of the Indicative Examination Grades, a summary sheet after entry of the Indicative Examination Grades and a ‘Missing Results Report’.  The report can be produced in either Unit Code or Teacher Name order.

To ensure that all the required Indicative Examination Grades have been entered, the Indicative Grades Report should be run with the Display Missing Results Only? parameter changed to ‘YES’.

NOTE: It is most important that correct Indicative Examination Grades are entered, as these grades cannot be changed in VASS by schools after TUESDAY 10 June, 2008.

It is recommended that the Indicative Grades Report be produced for teachers to check after entry of the Indicative Examination Grades and before TUESDAY 10 June, 2008.
