School-Assessed Task Review Feedback
Schools are reminded that scores for the School-assessed Tasks were due to be entered on VASS by 12 October. Schools are now able to view their visitation status for review by visitation on VASS by going to SCHOOL PROGRAM → VCE → Visitation →Visitation Report.
If a school is being reviewed by visitation for any of the visual arts or technology studies, the column under “reviewed” will say “yes”.
Dates for the visitation review will be released in the next few days through VASS.
Schools that are being reviewed are reminded to refer to the review procedures on page 13 of the VCAA February Bulletin Supplement 1 (Advice for School Assessment).
Schools are also reminded if they wish to obtain further feedback following the review by visitation process they are invited to call the VCAA after the release of results.
ACTION REQUIRED
In order to manage the feedback process for all teachers involved in the review, teachers are able to phone the VCAA on 9225 2214 from Monday 2 November 2009 to schedule a convenient time on Thursday 17 December between 8:30am – 4:30pm (the final time allocated will be 4:15pm) to discuss the specific details of their review.
Each school will be allocated a time slot of 15 minutes for feedback. It is important that the teacher of the study call the VCAA at the allotted time and provide feedback from the session to school personnel as required by the principal.
Unfortunately calls cannot be taken from teachers who do not book a time. Similarly if teachers do not ring at their allotted time, it will not be possible to give them a full 15 minutes as it is likely to impinge upon another school’s booking.

Further enquires on the review by visitation process should be directed to Susan Meadows on 9225 2214.
