Unit 3 Coursework Audit Feedback

The coursework audit is designed to ensure that teachers are setting tasks relevant to the Study Design and that also allow their students to achieve the learning outcomes specified in the Study Design.

The Unit 3 audit outcomes were communicated to schools via email on Friday 6 November 2009.

Individual outcomes for your studies were sent to your school’s email address today.

The feedback to schools will consist of one of the following for each study audited:

SATISFACTORY - indicates that the audit panel felt that the material submitted was sufficient to allow the students to demonstrate the outcomes.

NOT SUBMITTED - the study is subject to audit in 2010.

CONCERNS - indicates that the audit panel had some concerns with the material submitted.  The teacher is invited to phone the relevant VCAA Curriculum Manager to discuss the issue further. This study is subject to audit in 2010 to ensure that the concerns identified are addressed.

INSUFFICIENT MATERIAL - indicates that the material submitted was not sufficient and the audit panel was unable to make a decision.  Schools that only submitted reproductions or photocopies of the Study Design are likely to have received this comment.  This study is subject to audit in 2010.  You may phone Susan Meadows on 9225 2214 for further information.

NA - indicates that the material submitted was received too late to be included in the Unit3 audit and will be looked at with the Unit 4 material.
