VCAA VET, VCAL & DEECD Briefings 2010
Main Points
The briefings will cover:
- VCAL update for 2011, including information on the new Skills for Further Study – Senior unit
- VET update for 2011, including revised VCE VET programs, scored assessment, School Based Apprenticeships, strengthened AQTF requirements, revised scored assessment audit procedures and State and Federal VET policy
- Update on Youth Transitions Policy
- Funding for VETiS, VCAL and Reengagements (Government Schools only)
- Briefings will take place over thirteen locations during November and December
- Schools/Providers are invited to send up to three representatives.
Schools/Providers should note that state-wide VCE briefings will be conducted in early 2011.
