Supporting Children Learning English as an Additional Language in the Early Years (Birth to 6 years)

On 29 November 2011, the Minister for Children and Early Childhood, The Hon. Wendy Lovell, MLC and the Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship, The Hon. Nicholas Kotsiras MP, launched the Learning English as an Additional Language in the Early Years (birth to six years) resource (PDF - 2MB). The resource consists of a professional learning program of three training modules and a resource booklet for early childhood professionals working with children (birth to six years) and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The resource builds out of the Discussion Paper by Dr Priscilla Clarke, Supporting Children Learning English as a Second Language in the Early Years (birth to six years) also featured on this page under resources.
