The VCAA, in partnership with Dr Priscilla Clarke and FKA Children's Services Inc, have developed three professional learning modules to support early childhood professionals working with children learning English as an Additional language.
These Modules stem from a discussion paper written by Dr Priscilla Clarke in 2009, Supporting Children Learning English as a Second Language in the Early Years 0-6 (Nov 2009) (PDF - 312KB).
Professional learning workshops are available to all early childhood professionals. Each workshop has been developed to support cultural competency consistent with the Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
The Language Series - Focuses on the Development of English as an Additional Language from birth to 6.
