Regional information sessions
Over thirty regional information sessions were held across Victoria between 10 August and 2 September 2009. These forums provided an opportunity for everyone involved in children’s learning and development to hear more about the reform agenda including the national Early Years Learning Framework, the draft Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the Transition: A Positive Start to School initiative.
Over 2,500 people attended the sessions and provided valuable and extensive feedback. The feedback is being used to redraft the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework which will be launched in November 2009 and implemented in 2010.
