Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) 0-8

A draft of the VEYLDF has been developed which builds out of the national Early Years Learning Framework (0-5) and is aligned with the Victorian Essential Learning Standards in the first years of school and includes transition to school.

The trial and validation of the draft Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework has now closed as of 23 October 2009.  The Framework is being rewritten based the feedback from regional information sessions, online feedback, online discussion forums, family focus groups, and Maternal and Child Health and Supported Playgroups Coordinator focus groups.

A summary report will be available by December 2009

The final VEYLDF will be launched in late November 2009. Implementation will begin from 2010.
