How to enter the 2012 Plain English Speaking Award

Teachers are invited to use the online ­entry form at the bottom of this page to provide details of students entering the 2012 Plain English Speaking Award.

A maximum of two students per school may enter. They must be aged between 15 and 18 years on 1 January 2012. They must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Entry deadline is Tuesday 17 April 2012

Entry fee

The entry fee per school (not per student) is $50.00. Host schools are exempt.

Payment

  • Send a cheque by mail after receiving your online registration confirmation.
  • Identify the cheque as a PESA entry fee (eg enclose a photocopy of the entry form)
  • Make cheque payable to VCAA
  • Mail to:  VCAA, 41 St Andrews Place, East Melbourne, Vic 3002

Please note: the VCAA does not issue invoices. On receipt of your payment a Tax Receipt will be sent to you.

Regional final details

On receipt of your entry we will email you with the date and venue of your regional final. If you have not received this email by Friday 4 May please phone (03) 9651 4372
