VCE 2001 - Students can get Results Early
10 December 2001
Students will be able to get their VCE results and Equivalent National Tertiary Entrance Rank (ENTER) through a telephone and Internet service next week.
Thousands of students will be able to use the joint results service, operated by the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) and Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC), from 7am on Monday, 17 December.
The service allows students to see their results a day before they are delivered in the mail on Tuesday, 18 December.
VCAA Chief Executive Susan Pascoe and VTAC Director John Wade said the joint telephone and Internet service, launched in 1999, had proved popular with students. Last year, 17,011 students used the telephone service and 12,088 were registered to receive their results on the Internet service.

Information Service
A free information service will operate to answer questions students may have about their results. The joint Post Results Enquiry Service (PRES) will run from 7am to 5pm on 17 December and then from 9am to 5pm from 18 to 20 December. Phone (03) 9651 4640 or 1800 134 197 for country callers. The service does not provide VCE results or ENTERs to students.
