Students can get Their VCE Results Early

Students can get their VCE results and Equivalent and National Tertiary Entrance Rank (ENTER) early through a one-stop information service next week.

The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) and the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) are offering a range of options for students to receive VCE and ENTER results through the 2002 VCE Results and ENTER Service.

For the first time this year, students will be able to receive results and ENTER by SMS (Short Messaging Service) via a mobile phone.

Students will also be able to access their results and ENTER on the Internet and over the phone as part of the service.

VCE results and the ENTER will be available on these services from 7am on Monday, December 16, until midday on Monday December 23.

Students will also receive this information in the mail on Tuesday 17 December 2002. All students enrolled in a Year 12 study will be able to access their VCE results and all students meeting tertiary entrance requirements will receive an ENTER.

Last year, 30,000 students surfed the Internet to get results while 14,000 called into the information hotline.

How to get results

Telephone Access

To access VCE results and ENTER via the telephone service call 1900 957 888 (call cost $1.65 per minute including GST, higher from mobile or public telephones).
You will need your Student Number and the PIN that has been issued to you by VTAC.

Internet Access

To access your VCE results and ENTER via the Internet, the web address is results.vcaa.vic.edu.au
To access your VCE results you will need a VCE Results Access Code (VRAC) in addition to your Student Number and PIN.

To access your ENTER and ENTER subject scores you will need your Student Number and PIN only.

SMS Access

To access your VCE results via SMS on a mobile phone you need to submit an SMS request. You can do this from 9 am Monday 2 December 2002. Call 1902 267 003.

* All students enrolled in at least one Year 12 study will receive their results in the post on Tuesday 17 December.
