First week, Term 1
- Schools receive NAPLAN 2011 Handbook for Principals
Friday 18 February
- Last date for submission of enrolment data on the NAPLAN Test Administration website (Independent schools only)
Friday 4 March
- Final date to submit the Statement of Compliance and register authorised staff for receipt of test materials
- Final date for schools to request a variation to testing dates for classes or groups
- Final date for schools to request large print and Braille materials
Friday 25 March
- Final date to request an interactive PDF of the 2011 NAPLAN Test Materials
Wednesday 27 April to Wednesday 4 May
- Schools receive and check contents of NAPLAN test packages
Friday 6 May
- Final date to request extra materials
Tuesday 10 May
- NAPLAN Language Conventions and Writing tests (Years 3, 5, 7 and 9)
Wednesday 11 May
- NAPLAN Reading tests (Years 3, 5, 7 and 9)
Thursday 12 May
- NAPLAN Numeracy tests (Years 3, 5, 7 and 9)
Friday 13 May
- Last day for schools to conduct catch-up tests for individual students
Friday 13 May or Monday 16 May
- Test booklets packed and ready for collection. The VCAA will inform schools as to their collection date when the collection lists are finalised.
Monday 12 September to Friday 16 September
- NAPLAN Parent Reports distributed to schools.
- NAPLAN Data Service released with NAPLAN 2011 results.
Between October and December 2011
- NAPLAN Professional Development workshops - dates will be provided at a later date.
