National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN)
Assessment for Better Learning Using NAPLAN 2008 Data
The NAPLAN 2008 Data PD comprises a three-hour workshop which is designed to assist principals, NAPLAN coordinators, classroom teachers and curriculum management leaders to:
- use the responses to questions in the NAPLAN 2008 tests as a diagnostic tool to inform them about the strengths and weaknesses of students in their classes
- use their school-level data to analyse the impact of their school’s learning programs.
The workshops will be conducted across Victoria during October and November by School Research and Measurement Services (SREAMS) on behalf of the VCAA.
