With the introduction of NAPLAN in 2008, a new assessment scale for student results was introduced. To assist school staff in analysing their students' NAPLAN results, the following guide was developed. This guide includes information about the NAPLAN scale, the relationship of the NAPLAN Scale to VELS, and for Government schools how to analyse the NAPLAN results included in the School Level Reports.
