  • CD-ROM
  • 3.5 inch floppy disk drive or USB drive
  • 10 Mbps Ethernet card
  • SVGA 15 inch monitor, 800 X 600 resolution

  • Internet Explorer (IE) Version 6.00 Service Pack 2 or subsequent approved IE versions.

4. Network Connection

  • Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL), Broadband Service, Cable modem or
  • satellite Broadband service.

VCAA use of the database

VCAA and schools are using the same database and at certain times of the year both will be using the system heavily, which may affect response times.

During July, the June examinations and the GAT are being processed and in October, November and December the examinations are being processed and results finalised. As far as possible the VCAA will alert schools to days and times that response times will be adversely affected.

It is advisable for schools to enter enrolments and results on a continuous basis.
