On Demand Professional Development - April/May 2009
The VCAA is conducting a series of morning and afternoon Professional Development training programs in the Metropolitan and Regional centres for schools using or intending to use the On Demand Testing application for the first time this year.
The intended audience includes Assessment and Reporting Coordinators, Curriculum Coordinators, Learning and Teaching Coaches, interested teachers and DEECD Regional staff.
- All PD sessions are subject to demand (regional sessions can only proceed if sufficient schools attend).
- The training programs have been developed as computer based two and a half hour, “hands-on” introductory sessions and will focus on test setup processes and administration as outlined in the Teacher Training Guide for On Demand Testing available via the following link http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/prep10/aim/ondemand/docodownload.html
(NOTE: A new version of the Teacher Training Guide will be available early in term two).
- As places are limited, a maximum of two places will be allocated to each school.
- Allocation to the sessions is on a first come first served basis.
