Online Support Program

The VCAA is running a program of online events using Blackboard Collaborate, to further support the implementation of the Australian Curriculum in Victoria. These online events are open to all Victorian government, Catholic or independent school curriculum leaders and teachers and are free.

Repeat Introduction to AusVELS Online Seminar: Term 2, 2012

The VCAA is repeating the online seminar An Introduction to AusVELS, first held in 2011, on 7 May and 10 May 2012.

These sessions are now booked out. Additional online seminars will be scheduled throughout 2012.

All professional development opportunities will also be advertised to schools via the VCAA EY–10 Bulletin or in our Notices to Schools.

Professional Learning

The VCAA, in partnership with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria and Independent Schools Victoria, conducted 27 professional learning activities across the state in term 2 and 3 2011 to support schools in their initial planning for the transition to the Australian Curriculum.
