In the first instance, as additional domains are developed as part of the Australian Curriculum, they will be incorporated into the AusVELS construct, replacing their AusVELS domain equivalent e.g., when Australian Curriculum Geography is approved for implementation it will replace the current Geography domain that is drawn from the current VELS. Information about the implementation of additional Australian Curriculum-based components of the curriculum will be published here when it becomes available.
As the Australian Curriculum is fully developed, the AusVELS structure may be further revised and modified. For details, see Transition to the Australian Curriculum in Victoria (PDF - 123KB).
