The following information is provided to support the enrolment of VCAL students in VCE VET programs.
The following information has been prepared to support VCAL teachers/coordinators who are enrolling students in a complete or partial VET certificate/s (not included in the VCAA VCE VET programs) as part of their VCAL.
Students who complete all or part of a Vocational Education and Training (VET) and/or Further Education (FE) qualification may receive credit towards satisfactory completion of the VCAL.
VET in VCAL

Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are responsible for the delivery, assessment and certification of VET qualifications. The following options are available for the delivery of a VET training program:
For each of these options costs will be incurred. Advice on eligibility for funding is available from the sector authorities (Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD), Independent Schools Victoria and the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria [CECV]).
Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) is an appropriate and valuable component of all VET training programs. Your local Workplace Learning Coordinator can assist with SWL for students. Contact the VCAA's VCAL Unit for details.
