Exams and Assessment

It is the VCAA's job is to ensure that Victorian school students have access to the most fair and accurate assessment procedures possible. A large component of this job is responsibility for the external VCE examinations that take place in June and November.

Exams and Assessment Reports
Find past exams, sample exams and Exam Assessment Reports for all subjects for the last five years. Exam Assessment Reports give advice to teachers and students in relation to examinations. Some of them provide some exam answers.

Exam Timetable
Current year exam timetable and dates for examination periods.

Exam Advice
Examination materials and advice are provided to assist students preparing for VCE examinations. Examinations materials relating to the 2008 October/November VCE examinations will be available in Term 4.

Statistical Moderation
Information on the formation of school partnerships and statistical moderation.

General Achievement Test (GAT)
Learn what the GAT is, why students sit the GAT, get some study tips and copies of past tests and answers.

Special Provision for Assessment
Information on how provision is given to students who become ill or experience personal hardship during their VCE assessments. (Previously known as Consideration of Disadvantage.)
