The Prescribed List of Notated Solo Works contains lists and should be used by students who select to perform work as a soloist for selection of instrument and prescribed work for VCE Music Investigation Units 3-4 and for selection of instruments and programs for VCE Music Performance Units 3 and 4.
In this study, 'instrument' includes voice.

Introduction to the 2010 edition
The 2010 Prescribed List of Notated Solo Works is for selecting student’s individual solo performance programs for Outcome 1 in Units 3 and 4: Solo performance.
This edition of the Prescribed List is for use from 1 January 2010.
The online edition of the 2010 Prescribed List of Notated Solo Works was first published in January 2005. Revisions including sample programs for all instruments were published in January 2006. Further updates and changes were made in January 2007; 2008 and 2009.
The lists as currently published should be used to confirm students’ programs for Units 3 and 4 Outcome 1 and the Solo performance recital examination for 2010.
Information about the list and the examination is also available in print format.
