Qualifications

The following qualification is available as a VCE VET program:

  • FNS30104 Certificate III in Financial Services

Note: The Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Financial Services is not designed as a stand-alone study. Students are strongly advised against undertaking the Units 3 and 4 sequence without first completing Units 1 and 2.

Minor changes have been made to the codes in the Financial Services Training Package. These updates are listed under the publications section.

Credit in the VCE

Students who complete FNS30104 Certificate III in Financial Services will be eligible for four units credit towards their VCE: two units at Units 1 and 2 and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.

ENTER Contribution

Students wishing to receive an ENTER contribution for the Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Financial Services must undertake scored assessment for the purpose of achieving a study score. This study score can contribute directly to the primary four or as a fifth or sixth study.

Scored Assessment

Students wishing to receive a study score for VCE VET Financial Services must undertake scored assessment. This consists of three coursework tasks, worth 66% of the overall study score and an end of year examination, worth 34% of the overall study score.

Scored assessment in 2007 is based on the Units 3 and 4 sequence of FNS30104 Certificate III in Financial Services.
