Qualifications

The following qualifications are available as a VCE VET program:
- RTE20103 Certificate II in Agriculture
- RTE20603 Certificate II in Production Horticulture
The following qualifications are available as a School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship program:
- RTE20103 Certificate II in Agriculture
- RTE20603 Certificate II in Production Horticulture
Note: To achieve a Units 3 and 4 sequence for satisfactory completion purposes a student must complete a minimum of 380 hours of training.
Program redevelopment: Due to delays in the training package review process, the redevelopment of the VCE VET program for Agriculture will not take place in 2009. Therefore, there will be no change to this VCE VET program in 2010.
Credit in the VCE
Students who complete RTE20103 Certificate II in Agriculture or RTE20603 Certificate II in Production Horticulture will be eligible for up to five units credit towards their VCE: up to three units at Units 1 and 2, and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.
ENTER Contribution
Students who receive a Units 3 and 4 sequence for RTE20103 Certificate II in Agriculture or RTE20603 Certificate II in Production Horticulture either through the VCE VET or School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships program, will be eligible for a 10% increment towards their ENTER (10% of the average of the primary four scaled studies).
