Applied Fashion Design and Technology
Qualifications
The VCE VET Applied Fashion Design and Technology program replaces the VCE VET Clothing program. From 2009, all new enrolments must be in the qualification:
- LMT21707 Certificate II in Applied Fashion Design and Technology and selected units of competence from LMT31407 Certificate III in Applied Fashion Design and Technology
The VCE VET Clothing program is only available for students with a current enrolment. No new students may enrol in 21471VIC Certificate III in Concept Development for Clothing Production.
Note: The Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Applied Fashion Design and Technology is not designed as a stand-alone study. Students are strongly advised against undertaking the Units 3 and 4 sequence without first completing Units 1 and 2.

For new VCE VET program LMT21707:
Students who complete the VCE VET Applied Fashion Design and Technology program will be eligible for six units of credit towards their VCE: four units at Units 1 and 2, and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.
ENTER Contribution
Students who receive a Units 3 and 4 sequence for LMT21707 will be eligible for a 10% increment towards their ENTER (10% of the average of the primary four scaled studies). The increment is awarded by the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).
