The following qualifications from AUR05 Automotive Industry Training Package Retail, Service and Repair are available as School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships:
Credit will be dependent upon the amount of training undertaken based on nominal hours.
Students who complete a Certificate II School-based Apprenticeship or Traineeship from AUR05 Automotive Industry Training Package Retail, Service and Repair will receive four units credit towards their VCE: two units at Units 1 and 2 and a Units 3 and 4 sequence on completion of a minimum of 360 hours of training.
Students who complete AUR30405 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology will receive up to six units credit towards their VCE: two units at Units 1 and 2 and two Units 3 and 4 sequences, depending on the number of hours of Certificate III level training successfully completed.
Apprentices who do not achieve the minimum requirements for the qualification, as listed in the Training Package, will receive a Statement of Attainment from the RTO listing those competencies achieved. A record of their achievement will also appear in their Training Record Book.
There is no study score available for this program.
Students who receive a Units 3 and 4 sequence for any of the School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships from the Automotive Training Package AUR05 (at Certificate II or III level) will be eligible for a 10% increment towards their ATAR (10% of the average of the primary four scaled studies).
