Clothing Products
Qualification
The VCE VET Clothing program has been replaced by the redeveloped VCE VET Applied Fashion Design and Technology program.
No new students may enrol in 21471VIC Certificate III in Concept Development for Clothing Production in 2009 and beyond.
Students commencing the VCE VET Applied Fashion Design and Technology program, must enrol in the qualification:
- LMT21707 Certificate II in Applied Fashion Design and Technology and selected units of competence from LMT31407 Certificate III in Applied Fashion Design and Technology
Note: The Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Clothing is not designed as a stand-alone study. Students are strongly advised against undertaking the Units 3 and 4 sequence without first completing Units 1 and 2.
Credit in the VCE
For continuing students in VCE VET program 21471VIC:
Students who complete Certificate III in Concept Development for Clothing Products will be eligible for four units of credit towards their VCE: two units at Units 1 and 2, and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.
ENTER Contribution
Students who receive a Units 3 and 4 sequence for 21471VIC will be eligible for a 10% increment towards their ENTER (10% of the average of the primary four scaled studies). The increment is awarded by the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).
