The following qualifications are available as a VCE VET program:
- ICP20205 Certificate II in Printing and Graphic Arts (Desktop Publishing)
- ICP20105 Certificate II in Printing and Graphic Arts (General)
Pre-apprenticeships
A pre-apprenticeship is a nationally recognised qualification that has an automatic training and duration credit into the apprenticeship in the same industry area. A pre-apprenticeship training program prepares the student for entry into a trade based apprenticeship by equipping the student with foundation knowledge and skills.
Formal pre-apprenticeship arrangements have been approved by Skills Victoria (formerly OTTE) for ICP20105 Certificate II in Printing and Graphic Arts (General).
Credit in the VCE
Students who complete ICP20205 Certificate II in Printing and Graphic Arts (Desktop Publishing) OR ICP20105 Certificate II in Printing and Graphic Arts (General) will be eligible for credit of up to six units credit towards their VCE: up to four units at Units 1 and 2 and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.
ENTER Contribution
Students who receive a Units 3 and 4 sequence for ICP20105 Certificate II in Printing and Graphic Arts (General) will be eligible for a 10% increment towards their ENTER (10% of the average of the primary four scaled studies).
