The following qualification is available as a VCE VET program:

21583VIC Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Shared Technology)

Note: The Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Electrotechnology is not designed as a stand-alone study. Students are strongly advised against undertaking the Units 3 and 4 sequence without first completing Units 1 and 2.

Credit in the VCE

Students who complete 21583VIC Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Shared Technology) will be eligible for up to four units credit towards their VCE: two units at Units 1 and 2 and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.

ENTER Contribution

Students wishing to receive an ENTER contribution for the Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Electrotechnology must undertake scored assessment for the purpose of achieving a study score. This study score can contribute directly to the primary four or as a fifth or sixth study.

Scored Assessment

Students wishing to receive a study score for VCE VET Electrotechnology must undertake scored assessment. This consists of four coursework tasks, worth 66% of the overall study score and an end of year examination, worth 34% of the overall study score.

Scored assessment in 2008 is based on the Units 3 and 4 sequence of 21583VIC Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Shared Technologies).
