New students will not be able to enrol in the VCE VET Financial Services program from 2012. From 2012 all new students will be enrolled in FNS30110 Certificate III in Financial Services and will be eligible for credit towards the VCE through Block Credit Recognition.
Students with an enrolment in Units 1 and 2 of the VCE VET Financial Services program in 2011 will be able to continue their program and undertake scored assessment in Units 3 and 4 in 2012. Scored assessment will not be available from 2013.

The following qualification is available as a VCE VET program:
Students who complete FNS30107 Certificate III in Financial Services will be eligible for four units credit towards their VCE: two units at Units 1 and 2 and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.
Students wishing to receive an ATAR contribution for the Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Financial Services must undertake scored assessment for the purpose of achieving a study score. This study score can contribute directly to the primary four or as a fifth or sixth study.
Students wishing to receive a study score for VCE VET Financial Services must undertake scored assessment. This consists of three coursework tasks, worth 66% of the overall study score and an end of year examination, worth 34% of the overall study score.
Scored assessment is based on the Units 3 and 4 sequence of FNS30107 Certificate III in Financial Services.
