The following qualifications from the RTF03 Amenity Horticulture Training Package are available as School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships:
Students who complete any of the eight RTF03 Certificate II in Horticulture qualifications will be eligible for up to five units credit towards their VCE: up to three units at Units 1 and 2, and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.
Credit is granted through accrual of hours of completed training. To achieve a Units 3 and 4 sequence a student must complete a minimum of 360 hours of training.
Apprentices who do not achieve the minimum requirements for the qualification, as listed in the Training Package, will receive a Statement of Attainment from the RTO listing those competencies achieved. A record of their achievement will also appear in their Training Record Book.
There is no study score available for this program.
Students who receive a Units 3 and 4 sequence for any of the eight RTF03 Certificate II in Horticulture qualifications, through a School-based Apprenticeship or Traineeship, will be eligible for a 10% increment towards their ATAR (10% of the average of the primary four scaled studies).
