The following qualifications are available as a VCE VET program:

  • RTF20103 Certificate II in Horticulture
  • RTF20203 Certificate II in Horticulture (Aboriculture)
  • RTF20303 Certificate II in Horticulture (Floriculture)
  • RTF20403 Certificate II in Horticulture (Landscape)
  • RTF20503 Certificate II in Horticulture (Retail Nursery)
  • RTF20603 Certificate II in Horticulture (Wholesale Nursery)
  • RTF20703 Certificate II in Horticulture (Parks and Gardens)
  • RTF20803 Certificate II in Horticulture (Turf)

The following qualifications are available as a School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship program:

  • RTF20103 Certificate II in Horticulture
  • RTF20203 Certificate II in Horticulture (Aboriculture)
  • RTF20303 Certificate II in Horticulture (Floriculture)
  • RTF20403 Certificate II in Horticulture (Landscape)
  • RTF20503 Certificate II in Horticulture (Retail Nursery)
  • RTF20603 Certificate II in Horticulture (Wholesale Nursery)
  • RTF20703 Certificate II in Horticulture (Parks and Gardens)
  • RTF20803 Certificate II in Horticulture (Turf)

Note: To achieve a Units 3 and 4 sequence for satisfactory completion purposes, a student must complete a minimum of 380 hours of training.

Credit in the VCE

Students who complete any of the eight RTF Certificate II in Horticulture qualifications will be eligible for up to five units credit towards their VCE: up to three units at Units 1 and 2, and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.

ENTER Contribution

Students who receive a Units 3 and 4 sequence for any of the eight RTF Certificate II in Horticulture qualifications, either through the VCE VET or School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships program, will be eligible for a 10% increment towards their ENTER (10% of the average of the primary four scaled studies).
