Note: The Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Integrated Technologies is not designed as a stand-alone study. Students are strongly advised against undertaking the Units 3 and 4 sequence without first completing Units 1 and 2.
Students who complete 22071VIC Certificate II in Integrated Technologies will be eligible for up to four units credit towards their VCE: two units at Units 1 and 2 level, and a Units 3 and 4 sequence.
Students wishing to receive an ATAR contribution for the Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Integrated Technologies must undertake scored assessment for the purpose of achieving a study score. This study score can contribute directly to the primary four or as a fifth or sixth study.
Students wishing to receive a study score for the VCE VET Integrated Technologies program must undertake scored assessment. This consists of three coursework tasks worth 66% of the overall study score and an end-of-year examination, worth 34% of the overall student score.
Scored assessment is based on the Units 3 and 4 sequence of VCE VET Integrated Technologies.
Materials relating to scored assessment for the VCE VET Integrated Technologies program will be published as a supplement to the VCAA Bulletin VCE, VCAL and VET in February 2012.
