VCE Drama and Theatre Studies - 2017 performance examination arrangements
Principals/Directors, VCE Coordinators, teachers of VCE Drama and Theatre Studies
VCE Drama and Theatre Studies performance examinations will be recorded from October 2017.
An audio visual recording of all student presentations will be made, providing a valuable additional quality assurance measure.
Recordings will not be used for any other purpose without first securing individual student consent.
Recording equipment will be placed discreetly in a fixed position on the assessor's desk in the examination room and operated by one of the assessors.
There will be no other changes to the examination room procedures and protocols.
Schools and teachers should refer to the examination specification material when it is published in April 2017.
It is anticipated the use of audio visual recording will be expanded to include additional VCE performance examinations from 2018.
- ensure all VCE Drama and Theatre Studies teachers and students are made aware of the introduction of audio visual recording from 2017.
Monday 9 October - Tuesday 31 October (2017 VCE Drama and Theatre Studies performance examination period)
