Notice to Schools 43/2017 − 3 May 2017

2017 schedule survey for VCE performance and Languages Oral examinations and the Extended Investigation oral presentation

Principals/Directors, VCE Coordinators and Teachers of VCE Performing Arts, Languages and Extended Investigation

Main Points

The VCAA is currently scheduling Performance /Languages Oral examinations and the Extended Investigation oral presentations for the examination period: Monday 9 October – Sunday 5 November 2017.

To assist with timetabling and minimise potential clashes for students taking these examinations , the VCAA requires information on end-of-year events during this period.

Events may include final year assemblies, graduation ceremonies or events where students are required to attend school for all or a significant part of that day.

Schools can nominate one day as unavailable for timetabling of their students via the 2017 scheduling survey response sheet (docx - 68.33kb). Please note that students may be timetabled either side of this nominated day.

Response sheets must be returned via mail, fax or email by Thursday 18 May 2017.

Where schools do not respond to this survey, the VCAA will assume that there is unrestricted availability for timetabling students within the examination period.
