Find out how to get involved in examination development

Applications for 2027 VCE examination development panel positions are now open across all VCE and VCE VET studies.

The following examination development panel roles are available. Access the position descriptions below:

Apply for the above positions via our dedicated Sessional Staff Management System.

Positions for the VCE Drama Solo and Theatre Studies performance examinations were advertised earlier in 2026 and are not part of this recruitment round.

Every year the VCAA recruits experienced teachers, academics and industry trainers to write and review VCE examinations.

  • further develop their understanding of assessment techniques
  • enhance their skills in developing examinations
  • contribute towards their professional development
  • ensure VCE students have access to high-quality, accurate and valid examinations.

Being on an examination development panel is a chance to join other educational professionals who will write and review VCE and VCE VET examinations, marking guidelines and supporting documents.
