Principals/Directors, VCE, VCE VM and VPC Leaders and Coordinators, VASS Administrators, VCE teachers (new or requiring a refresher) on the VCAA processes that impact their classes and teachers of relevant studies

Term 1 VCE and VPC Leaders’ Briefings including Revised Audit Program

These briefings will inform school leaders of the latest administrative updates to the 2026 VCE and VPC Administrative Handbooks for VCE, VCE VM and VPC.

Revised Audit Program: From 2026, VCAA will implement a streamlined, two-stage audit program for all VCE and VPC providers, informed by sector feedback and recommendations from the Organisational Review of the VCAA.  These briefings will provide an overview of the changes.

Term 1 VCE teachers’ briefing

This briefing will support VCE teachers to develop a clear and comprehensive understanding of VCE processes and requirements as outlined in the 2026 VCE Administrative Handbook.

Attendance will only be required for one briefing session. The second session is a repeat session.

VCE Vocational Major and Victorian Pathways Certificate overview

On Thursday 5 March, the VCAA is delivering an online professional learning webinar for VCE VM and VPC teachers and leaders.

Please register for the webinar if you:

  • are new to teaching applied learning
  • are teaching one or more of the VCE VM or VPC studies for the first time
  • want to refresh your applied learning practice
  • want to refresh your knowledge of the VCE VM or VPC studies.

Professional development for new VASS users

New VASS administrators are invited to attend the VASS new user professional development training series.

Register for the new VASS user training sessions

We recommend that current VASS administrators’ mentor new administrators as part of their induction and handover in this important role.

Training occurs over a week-long period, with 2 sessions at the start of the week (logging in and troubleshooting, and introduction to VASS) and a third session at the end of the week (frequently asked questions).

Participants are only required to register for one group, spaces are limited.
