2026 Special Examination Arrangement applications open and webinar

Applications for 2026 Special Examination Arrangements (SEA)

Schools can now submit applications for Special Examination Arrangements (SEA) using the Special Provision Online (SPO) platform.

The SPO platform is accessed via VASS from the following menu: SPECIAL PROVISION > Special Examination Arrangements > Special Examination Arrangements Application.

Schools must make sure students are enrolled in all relevant VCE, VCE VM Unit 3-4 and scored VCE VET Unit 3–4 sequences on VASS before submitting an application.

For applications to rollover from previously approved SEA, schools must upload:

  • the 2026 rollover of previously approved SEA forms (available from VASS downloads)
  • upload or link the following forms from a previously approved SEA application on the SPO platform
  • a signed student consent form
  • a school-based evidence form.

Updates to the 2026 SEA application process will be presented on Tuesday 10 February, 10:30 am – 11:30 am.
